On Sunday, 15 September 2024, the Marines Task Forces, especially the Halabok Post led by Captain Septian, took the time to greet the children in Kuari Village, Dekai District, while conducting a patrol in the area.

Commander of the Marines Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Rismanto Manurung, underscored the Task Forces' commitment to addressing the basic needs of the community around the Halabok Post. This commitment, demonstrated since the Task Forces' assignment in Papua, has been furthered through Social Communication with local stakeholders. Recognizing the importance of education for the children in Kuari Village, the Marines Patrol Team took the initiative to bring along and distribute several books during their Sunday patrol, aligning their efforts with the region's development.

In Social Communication, the Patrol Team distributed free books to the children. The Kuari children immediately greeted the free distribution with joy. As an expression of gratitude, one of them, Markus Tabuni, said, "Thank you for the books, Marines Commander."

Upon receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, praised the Marines Task Forces’ initiative to distribute free books to children in Kuari Village. His words, 'The Marines Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to provide the community’s basic need to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.' He underscored the significant impact of such initiatives on the region's development. This recognition from the highest authority in HABEMA not only commends the Task Forces but also instills hope and optimism about their potential to positively shape the region's future. It is a testament to the Task Forces' and the community's efforts, making them feel recognized, valued, and respected.
