Habema's ROSITA Strengthens the Economy of Wombru Village

PUNCAK - In a heartwarming initiative that showcases the Indonesian Armed Forces' (TNI) commitment to community development, the Task Forces of Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad conducted the "ROSITA" program (Buy up Farming Products) in Wombru Village, Mageabume District, Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. This activity took place on Monday, 20 January 2025, as part of the Task Forces' routine security patrol under the command of First Lieutenant Caroko from Pintu Jawa Post.

Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, Commander of the 323 Task Forces, emphasized the importance of addressing the community's economic challenges, aligning with TNI's mission to go beyond security and contribute to societal welfare. During the ROSITA program, the Soldiers purchased farming products from the residents of Wombru Village, helping stimulate the local economy.

The initiative was more than just a transaction. Soldiers used their own funds to buy produce, creating a personal connection with the community. This gesture brought smiles and gratitude from the villagers. One of the sellers, Mrs. Ani Sondegau, shared her joy, saying, "Thank you, Commander 323. God bless."

Such moments of genuine interaction not only uplift the community's spirit but also strengthen the trust and bond between TNI and the residents.

Major General Lucky Avianto, the HABEMA Commanding General, praised the efforts of the 323 Task Forces, highlighting their impact on the region. “The ROSITA initiative exemplifies TNI's dedication to improving the local economy and supporting the acceleration of development in Papua. These efforts reflect our commitment to creating meaningful change for the people we serve, ” he stated.
