    TNI Task Forces Held Free Health Services And Welcomed Happily By Mamba Residents

    INTAN JAYA - Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad is one of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command (KOOPS TNI) HABEMA. The 509 Task Forces is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the region of Intan Jaya Regency. On Thursday, 1 August 2024, the 509 Task Forces held a Territorial Activity entitled "Free Health Services" for residents of Mamba Village, Sugapa District. This activity helped the residents with difficulties in the health sector, one of the community's basic needs.

    In conducting routine duties, the 509 Task Forces have actively carried out security activities in its area of responsibility. On Thursday, during its routine task, there was a Task Forces Medical Team at the Mamba Kotis Post led by the 509 Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi. It has become a routine for Mamba residents who live around the Post to visit the Post and get free Health Services from the Medical Team led by First Lieutenant Hadi Widiyanto. The free Health Services include general medical check-ups, treatment for minor illnesses, provision of vitamins, and education about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and living a healthy lifestyle.

    On Thursday morning, quite a lot of Mamba residents came to the Mamba Post to get free Health Services. One of them was Mama Maria Turnib who received health services through general medical check-ups, treatment for her flu illness, as well as the provision of medicine and vitamins. After the services, Mama Ria said, "Thank you, Doctor 509. I feel better now. God bless TNI."

    "The initiative of the 509 Task Forces to hold free Health Services for the Mamba residents, is a form of TNI's concern for the local community, especially in providing basic health services, to support efforts to accelerate the development of Papua region, " said Commander of KOOPS HABEMA, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, after receiving a report on the implementation of the activity.
